This site has been set up by 3 of Dantrell's teachers. It is on behalf of the whole school and
is for everyone who ever knew him to read, leave messages and light candels for him. Please do not
hesitate to come on here more than once or leave more than one message. Any memories you have of him
please share them. At school we have shared so many happy memories about him, he has left such a big
and positive impression on all of our lives.
Dantrell was knocked over by a motorbike on his way to school on Monday 4th February and died the
following day. He was 6 years old. Dantrell was not only a blessing to his mother and family, he was
a blessing to the whole community. We as a school have known him nearly a year a half and in that
time he has left such a big impression. I can tell you every teacher knew his name, right through
the school. It is very rare that somebody so young can have such an impact on so many peoples lives
but Dantrell was special. He really did love school. He would run there every day and was never
late. He was always at the front of the line. Dantrell always tried his best and made so much
progress.
There is a big hole in our class now, the children all miss him so much. The class will never be the
same, and neither will anyone who knew him closely. But together we can find the strength to move on
and deep down we all know Dantrell would want that. He was strong, he was brave, and now it's
time we where too.
We all miss you so much Dantrell, each and every one of us, and all in our own way. You bought so
much happiness to so many people, you really have touched a lot of hearts. You will never ever be
forgotten by anybody and we will always look up and wave to you in the sky. Take Care our sweet

Anybody wishing to leave flowers, cards, teddy bears or cars there is a tree on Southend Lane,
renamed 'Dantrell's Tree', where they can be placed. Each and every one is very much
appreciated.

When I learned of the loss of Dantrell my mind sketched a picture..
Reading the tributes and your (poignant) memories of him painted that picture and bought it to life in my mind..

You were blessed enough to have known this beautiful boy personally - and to have taught him..
I believe that every moment (teaching, playing, eating resting, laughing, crying) you spent with Dantrell was also time spent by God - educating you..
You may not have taught him every last thing you wanted to, but he taught and gave you more than enough to get by..

You touched so many!!
I never knew Dantrell, but it hurts to know that ure lil life was taken from us so early. Special people never stay on this thing calld earth very long, you are so special thats why God couldnt do without you. Guide ure family in the right way. Heaven was missin an ANGEL but now hes found. Condolences to ure mum, be strong!! I know it hurts but time is a healer, its a fact!!

I didn't know Dantrell but I know one of his teachers very well and he always spoke highly of Dantrell so this has come as a great shock and a tragic loss of a young life. So my condolences to his friends and family for their loss.

although i did not kno you personally dantrell, you have touched so many hearts, many who did not kno you personally either. it saddens me to kno you were taken like this.god obviously needed another angel, he chose you. i hope you are now resting in peace, now and forever

Only the good are taken young
I didnt know you personally Dantrell, but you were incredibly important to your teacher Thomas, who in turn is incredibly important to me. To know how brightly you shone in his eyes tells me you were a very special little boy.
Life can be cruel sometimes, but what your loved ones need to remember is that you are now in the hands of someone far greater who will love, protect and care for you until the day they all see you again.
