This site has been set up by 3 of Dantrell's teachers. It is on behalf of the whole school and
is for everyone who ever knew him to read, leave messages and light candels for him. Please do not
hesitate to come on here more than once or leave more than one message. Any memories you have of him
please share them. At school we have shared so many happy memories about him, he has left such a big
and positive impression on all of our lives.
Dantrell was knocked over by a motorbike on his way to school on Monday 4th February and died the
following day. He was 6 years old. Dantrell was not only a blessing to his mother and family, he was
a blessing to the whole community. We as a school have known him nearly a year a half and in that
time he has left such a big impression. I can tell you every teacher knew his name, right through
the school. It is very rare that somebody so young can have such an impact on so many peoples lives
but Dantrell was special. He really did love school. He would run there every day and was never
late. He was always at the front of the line. Dantrell always tried his best and made so much
progress.
There is a big hole in our class now, the children all miss him so much. The class will never be the
same, and neither will anyone who knew him closely. But together we can find the strength to move on
and deep down we all know Dantrell would want that. He was strong, he was brave, and now it's
time we where too.
We all miss you so much Dantrell, each and every one of us, and all in our own way. You bought so
much happiness to so many people, you really have touched a lot of hearts. You will never ever be
forgotten by anybody and we will always look up and wave to you in the sky. Take Care our sweet

Anybody wishing to leave flowers, cards, teddy bears or cars there is a tree on Southend Lane,
renamed 'Dantrell's Tree', where they can be placed. Each and every one is very much
appreciated.

Dantrell, i learnt of your passing from a long lost friend of mine Helen, I feel the pain your Mum and family are feeling and although people say it gets easier as time goes by i dont think it ever can for a mother that looses a child. I can see you were very special to everyone who had the privalege of knowing you. I lost my son last year, he went to heaven too so i hope you have met him, he loved children so i know he will be looking after you xxxx

I am very upset and angry and i think about little Dantrell evry time i cross that road, he is always in my thoughts and i send my condolences to nic and fam.
Dantrell i hope you meet up with my lil Brother who sadly got shot in AuG last year NATHAN FOSTER A.K.A BOWSER who also has a site.
Dantrell he will look afta you becoz only da good die young and it does not matter how God has Gained another Angel.

Dantrell u were laid to rest today, it was raining this morning but u brought the sunshine for ur last goodbye, sleep tight with the angels lil man, ur probably running them ragged!!

i would like to leave my sincere condolences to all of dantrell's family and friends such a sweet little boy i couldnt believe my eyes when i read about this as a parent myself it bought me to tears .my thoughts are with u all at this sad time so sorry for your loss another angel taken too soon

As a resident of bellingham i have seen the amount of tributes left to this lovely little boy, my thoughts are with his family i can only imagine what they are going through as a mother of a child the same age my thoughts are with them .

we little knew that morning,

Weep not for me though i am not gone,

Grieve if you will but not for long,
upon my soul's sweet fight.
I am at peace, my soul's at rest.
there is no need for tears.
For with your love I was blessed,
for all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not.
The fear now, all is gone.
Put these things out of ur thoughts.

Remember not my fight for breath,

Please do not dwell upon my death but celebrate my life.
